I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC-KA) based in Portland, Oregon. I believe training is a powerful tool for helping people develop stronger, more harmonious relationships with their dogs.

My approach is grounded in positive reinforcement and science-based training methods. I focus on building trust, strengthening communication, and helping clients better understand and respond to their dogs’ needs. I am committed to ongoing education so that my training practices remain informed by the latest research and developments in positive reinforcement-based methodologies.

Some of my favorite areas of work include teaching engagement games, helping clients understand canine body language, working with children and dogs, and supporting families as they integrate a new dog into their home. I also have extensive experience working with reactivity and have worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and backgrounds.

When I’m not working with client dogs, I enjoy mountain biking, surfing, skating, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I share my home with two dogs: Ringo Starr, a Pug/Boston Terrier mix, and Stella, a Bulldog mix.
